"Here's How I see it"

"The Importance of Communication!"
I received a very welcome but very overdue email this week. The paragraph that meant the most is as follows:
"It's been quite a while since I posted on the board. My wife has been out with a severely broken foot for over a year. Hence, little or no fishing to speak of. Would you mind providing me with a password to get on the board so that I can begin posting again?"
This letter was from George, one of our founding members that I have not been able to keep in touch with. George and I have fished together and enjoyed some good times. I did not realize it had been about a year since I had seen or heard from him.
The point is this. With a "loosely governed" group like the CCCF, it is very easy for someone to slip through the cracks. We are a highly mobile society and have more pressures on us...health...jobs...families...than we can sometimes deal with. We need each other to survive! In just the past few months we have seen families get uprooted and sent to foreign countries (Harv418 comes to mind), deaths in our families (StickyDave and yours truly), lost jobs (many), new babies (still several more), and so on.
So, my advice to all of you is:
K-I-T-S!
K = Keep
I = In
T = Touch,
S = Stupid!
We have a good...no, a great thing going here. We all seem to care about each other. Now the only thing that can screw that up is a weak link in communications. Take care that you are not that weak link.
Keep me informed!
