The Outdoorsman's Fishing & Hunting Expo

Scheduled for January 31st, February 1st and 2nd, the Outdoorsman's Expo is going to be a spectacular display of new products and techniques for anglers and hunters.
Companies scheduled to be at the expo are : Shimano, Lowrance, Power Pro, Mir-o-Lure, Bass Assassin, Mustad Hooks, Remington, Berkley, Zebco, Quantum, Rhino, Stren Fishing Line, Strike Lure Co., Motorola, BSA Optics, Gamo Airguns, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, Johnson Fishing & Mitchell, American Rodsmiths, Castaway, Kistler Rods and Norton . Many will be represented by owners and sales reps who will be waiting to show you new product selections for 2003 as well as answer questions. There will be free line winding in the Berkley booth and free reel repair in Shimano's booth. So be sure and bring your reels and don't miss the opportunity for a free reel cleaning and some new line.
Sponsors will be offering the opportunity for attendees to win great trips and prizes. Register to win a boat and truck at the Academy Booth to be given away during Academy Sports & Outdoors' Meet the Pros Weekend. Register to win a fishing trip and a chance to be on television with Hank Parker. There will be a Ladies Fishing Contest at 6:30 PM on Friday. Preregister at Academy stores. Grand prize is a $500 gift certificate to Academy and a fishing trip with Dan Coley Charters and a rod by American Rodsmiths.
Kids will have the opportunity to enter the Little Mr. & Miss Texas Outdoors Contest for kids 12yrs. and under. Meet Rudy the diving dog, star of the In-water Retriever Training inside the Bass Tank. New to the show are the Great Cats of the World from the Bridgeport Nature Center. See dog agility demos, go fishing, learn fly casting, and test your skills at archery,laser shooting, rock climbing and more at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Junior Sportsman Arena.

This show has had tremendous growth over the last two years and I think all those who attend will be pleasantly surprised by the changes made by the new show manager.
