They use that style of fishing in Hawai a lot. They throw a large line, 60#, with a heavy weight out then slide live baits out on the main. I've never seen anyone use them on the beaches here. I suspect there's not enough slope to slide it out. They fish off rocks into deeper water in Hawai so it makes more sense. I've been curious but never tried. Later, biggreen
