Yep you are Correct. There are still places down river out near Cherry Mound (Where I'm from) The creeks usually held a bunch of Sandbass and Blacks. But if you want a good Crappie or Sandbass hole. the Coves on the lake are where its at. Specially Rock Creek or Walnut Creek. My dad hits the Haggerman Refuge, and does well with Shad and Minnows. He was doing well in front of Ross Perots house the othe day. Trolling with a rattle trap. Do you have family up there?
As for the Texas side of the Dam, they've done a bunch recontruction and Screwed up the a real nice creek mouth that my dad used to take me to when I was a kid. Ever since then, Dad has kept to the Okla side fishing of the rocks with Punch Bait.
