TOBA members (at least I HOPE you folks show up!) will be cleaning our adopted beach on that day (the last mile on the Galveston side of San Luis Pass). If those who aren't want to help out, or do as PK suggested and stage a cleanup over at Sam's beach ... more power to you .. :) .. !! I haven't heard for sure, but TOBA usually provides some donuts and kolaches, and some drinks.
Brazoria county will have stations at both the jetty park on the Quintana side, and Stahlman park on the Surfside side (it's the park that is partway out of town to the north). They will supply you with inventory forms (these are used to document types of trash, attempt to determine source, etc.). After the cleanup (at noon) they will serve what the email I got termed "gourmet hotdogs" at the parks.
Please attempt to make the time to join one group or another ... we all used these beaches, we can help keep them a little cleaner!
