As some of you know,last year I somehow got something started that became known as the Ironman weekends.For those of you that don't know,it was just a brainstorm idea of mine that stemmed from my desire to fish all night before one of our gatherings.Since our gatherings are social events with a little bit of fishing thrown in,I took the chance to form a sort of "gathering" of the opposite type.Plus,it was a chance for folks to explore new beaches that they may have otherwise never tried by themselves, a perfect chances for folks new to surf-fishing to see how it's done,and a good chance for the rest of us to compare notes.
However,I have never been completely comfortable with the name"Ironman weekend".I think it gives people the wrong idea from the start.Plus,I know I am no Ironman myself.Maybe a few years ago but not anymore.
I would like some suggestions from anybody that wants to post up for a new name for these types of outings.Some of the other sites have some pretty cool names for theirs and they schedule them up to a year in advance.That is what I'm looking to do also.
Please post-up your best idea.Or,if you're a little shy,e-mail it to me.Thanks for any help.
