Below is what they say in the "about the cams" info ... it looks to me like it is referring to the old octogon house site. Texas street is the 4th street back from the south end (runs perpendicular to the beach), and dead ends onto Beach drive. The "octogon" is the surf spot in front of where the old octogon house stood, and has been a known spot since as far back as I can remember. Keep in mind that web site and cam are run by a surfer, and the site was founded by one as well (his son is operating it now). "Inside" and "outside" refer to sections of break ... pretty self explanatory which is what I think.
The Original Cam is on Beach Drive aimed South East over the bulkheads.
The Octagon Cam is aimed East and shows the inside at "Texas Street" or the outside at "Octagon".
BTW ... does everyone else get the same pic no matter which cam they select right now, or is it just me??
