Got about the same amount of time on mine and it's paired same as yours. Over time and all all over the world, I guess I've replaced every moving part except for the spool !

The 3 springs inside lose tension/rebound strentgh and seem to cause the 'failure to engage' problem (in my case).
Shimano also offers a "shift" conversion kit to essentially make it a 200A (and avoid a similar problem). Don't know if it is better, got the parts but never did it.
