Looks like the majority is for Oct 16/17.
I realize that the SCA banquet is on the 16th.That has been planned all year and I am not trying to take anybody away from that.If I remember correctly that should be an evening affair.That still leaves the majority of Saturday and Sunday if you want to attend the banquet but still want to come out to the beach.
October is a very busy month for surf fishing and it is tough to plan anything without it clashing with some other event.One of the reasons I made this an all-weekend event instead of the traditional Saturday event is to allow for things like that.I know also that there are always a few that vote for Sunday because they can't make Saturday.
I hope this works for everybody.This date thing is the only part I don't like about being involved with gatherings.
I'm not going to do the Friday night before thing this time.I will get down there sometime early Saturday morning and stay until sometime Sunday afternoon.The bullreds will probably be running good by then so get there early if you want to get a spot close to the group.It's gonna get crowded quick and not all of them will be with us.
I would like to get an idea of who will be camping.I saw below that Poolking is going to be making his famous beach breakfast tacos.If you want one speak-up so we can get enough fixins.Trust me,they're awesome.
