another forward from Ellis of SurfRider ... what he says here IS the truth .. we are about to lose our beaches to developers!!! Please - take a few minutes to let them know you do not want our coast armored in devices which cause increased erosion while serving only to protect private property at the loss of YOUR beach access rights. In Galveston alone, they are already spending millions of our tax dollars to do this, not to mention replenishment of the beaches in front of those geotubes because of the increased erosion they have caused.

there are only a few "pocket parks" in developed areas - Galveston,
Brazoria, Aransas, Nueces, and Cameron counties. Fewer places to surf
