I have fished all of Freeport when I was a kid. I loved fishing with my dad, and
my uncles still live and fish there. My dad is retired so he can go everyday. I still have to work and fish when I can.  It is to me the most relaxing, and refreshing type of recreation - oh, and not to mention the most rewarding (good eating).

I now fish mostly in the summer when I'm off and fish around Magnolia Beach where my roomate and I take a whole week off rent a cabin with no phones, no distractions and just strictly fish and relax. We also like to eat those good ole blueclaw crabs as well. All of the good ole places in Freeport are long and gone or fenced up now so we are out trying to find new places to go.
