I fish almost exclusively salt water, although I
occasionally fish in my son's lake at his ranch.
Areas are primarily: Galveston Jetties, West Bay, East Bay, Trinity Bay, Chocolate
Bay, Baffin Bay and the Landcut area.
Own a cabin at the Landcut and fish there a few times a year. Make approximately 35
to 50 fishing trips annually.
Will always take live bait if it is available but I also use plugs, tails and occasionally
flies. Mostly use casting tackle in the 6-12# rod class and 12-15# line class.
Have a Blue-Wave MS-57 pocket tunnel boat that I had designed especially by Roger Parks,
owner of Blue-Wave. It was expensive but it has a lot of features I wanted in my
boat.
I am approaching age 70 and have retired from my own businesses which including marketing
consumer products, land development and other investments for myself. I am not rich
but I have plenty to live on comfortably.
