I generally fish the "Texas City Dike" and
surrounding area,from my 16'4"BayMaster Boat-maroon/white-75Hp Yamaha.I've haven't
had very much luck in the area this year w/the exception of May-June when I was using one
of "Mirrolure's 52MR750",personalized by taking the rear treble hook off and put
a #6 treble hook w/chartreuse/glitter/white skirted fly tied to it that I purchased at
Cut-Rate separately.Caught 5 Specks on the freak,before the backlash/midair break-off.All
were 19"-20" (no dinks as of yet).All 5 Specks were caught really close to
Mosquito Island except 1 near dollar point!
